1 Introductions, apologies, substitutions and declarations of interest
1.1 The Chair welcomed Members to the meeting of the Culture, Communications, Welsh Language, Sport, and International Relations Committee. The Chair extended a special welcome to Sioned Williams MS as the Committee continues its joint inquiry with the Children, Young People, and Education Committee into Welsh in Education Strategic Plans (WESPs). Apologies were received from Buffy Williams MS.
1.2 Apologies were also received from Tom Giffard MS, Altaf Hussain MS substituted.
2 Motion under Standing Order 17.42 to resolve to exclude the public from the remainder of this meeting
2.1 The Motion was agreed.
3 Welsh in Education Strategic Plans (WESPS): Consideration of draft Report
3.1 The Committee considered the draft Report and agreed that further consideration was needed around the impact of the recent Census 2021 Welsh language in Wales results on the inquiry.
3.2 The Committee agreed to invite further evidence and to return to the matter at a future meeting.
